Employment Law

Businesses
Ms. Bayer works with a broad array of businesses, including health care entities, to establish written operating and business frameworks, policies and procedures, employment manuals, employment contracts, and non-compete agreements.  In addition, Ms. Bayer has extensive experience in the defense of administrative and civil litigation in front of the  Department of Labor, the Unemployment Insurance Agency, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.  She also has significant experience defending wrongful termination cases; age, gender and disability discrimination cases; Family and Medical Leave Act cases; and related contract/business matters in state and federal court.

Individuals
Ms. Bayer also provides counsel to individuals in connection with employment matters, such as agreements and severance packages, as well as in connection with wrongful termination, discrimination litigation, and administrative claims.

Ms. Bayer represents health care entities and professionals in connection with professional licensing matters, medical staffing, credentialing and privilege disputes, hospital/physician governance and relations issues, regulatory matters, and related litigation.

Fraud and Abuse
Ms. Bayer has experience in fraud and abuse matters and has represented individuals and health care professionals in False Claims Act/Qui Tam whistleblower cases.
