David L. Haron and Monica P. Navarro were selected as two of the top experts in the country to speak at the 6th Annual Ingenix Healthcare Coding, Billing and Compliance Conference in Orlando, Florida on November 28, 2006. Their two day presentation was entitled “Health Care Fraud and What Coding Professionals Must Know to Protect Themselves.”  Mr. Haron spoke on the Federal False Claims Act and Qui Tam lawsuits. Ms. Navarro focused on the ethical and legal obligations of healthcare providers facing fraud allegations by an employee.
