Ms. Varasteh is an associate at Frank, Haron, Weiner and Navarro who provides services in federal False Claims Act/qui tam and other commercial litigation, health care, and employment disputes.

Federal False Claims Act/qui tam litigation
Ms. Varasteh has represented whistleblowers in a variety of federal False Claims Act/qui tam cases, including Medicare/Medicaid fraud by long-term care facilities, hospitals and ambulance service providers; off-label pharmaceutical marketing cases; and federal grant fraud. 

Health Care Law
Ms. Varasteh focuses her health care and business litigation practice on representing mid-level providers such as physician groups, individual physicians and home health agencies in the following areas:

    Reimbursement
    Licensing
    Hospital Governance
    Medical Staff credentialing/privileges
    HIPAA compliance
    Fraud and Abuse

Employment and Business litigation
Ms. Varasteh also has experience with employment discrimination/civil rights cases under the Elliott Larsen Civil Rights Act and Title VII, in addition to handling business contract disputes.
