On June 17, 2008, Louis C. Szura was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan by the Honorable Shalina D. Kumar of the Oakland County Circuit Court. 

Mr. Szura recently joined FHWN as an associate.  He is a 2003 graduate of the Cornell Law School and received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan’s College of Literature, Science and the Arts in 1998.  He moved to Michigan from Chicago, Illinois and is also licensed to practice in Illinois and Ohio.

Mr. Szura has substantial experience working on shareholder disputes, insurance coverage litigation, antitrust litigation, patent and trademark litigation, and contract disputes, among other areas.  His practice at FHWN will focus on complex commercial litigation, business planning, healthcare law, and the prevention of fraud and abuse under the federal False Claims Act.
