David L. Haron Named 2010 Leader in the Law
David L. Haron was selected as one of Michigan Lawyers Weekly 2010 Leaders in the Law. Mr. Haron, along with 24 other lawyers from across Michigan, were honored at a luncheon on March 16, 2010 for their leadership and service in the legal and greater community and their dedication to improving the practice of law in Michigan.
Mr. Haron is a principal in the law firm where he has represented numerous businesses and individuals in real estate and commercial transactions, business planning, and litigation related matters for nearly 40 years after graduation from the University of Michigan Law School.
Mr. Haron also represents whistleblowers in cases involving retaliatory termination of employment and in federal Qui Tam lawsuits in connection with false claims filed with the federal government. He represented the plaintiff in U.S. ex rel. Jeanne Byrne v. Damon Laboratories, Inc., a Qui Tam lawsuit resulting in a $119 million recovery for the United States because of over-billing of medical lab tests.
Mr. Haron is also an arbitrator and mediator for the American Arbitration Association.
