FHW Members J. Laevin Weiner and Melinda A. Balian recently received a $3,464,676.91 judgment in a breach of contract/fraud action filed by their client, Grand Sky Enterprise Co., Ltd. The lawsuit, which was filed in Oakland County Circuit Court against Defendants Future Financial Investments, LLC and Romel Casab, alleged the Defendants defrauded Plaintiff in connection with contracts for the removal of scrap metal from two commercial properties.  The Plaintiff's complaint alleged breach of contract and fraud (including express fraud, silent fraud, bad faith promise, and, negligent and innocent misrepresentation).
